getting very light sleet in humble again

Finally starting to hear a few ice pellets here and there in Humble.

Yeah, nothing really falling at the moment in Humble. It's pretty calm out there. Guess I can go to sleep since we won't see anything till 4AM. But I'm up playing Risk 2 so that should keep me going another hour.

33.1 here in Humble... after several hours of holding steady near 36 the temp has started to fall again.

Sugar Land Airport reporting light snow. Can someone confirm on the ground?

Hmmm Dew Point at IAH is 33 and the temp is 35. Will the dew point drop as well?

Temps have been holding steady in Humble 36/37 for a few hours. Cold air advection has stalled. Will we even see the advertised lows of 28/30?

Looks like the temp fall has started to stall in the Humble area. I have been stuck between 36/37 for the last hour or so.

Does it look like our coastal low will still take shape? Most of the precip is north and east of Houston and I don't see much coming from the SW just yet. Watching the State radar closely.

I really think the dry air has played a role in keeping down our precipitation. Notice further north in Dallas area they are getting some strong showers. I didn't even think it was forecasted to be worst there then here.

Side note, is that it may not even hold together and bring snow to this area. We will just have to watch for trends. Let us not get our hopes up. However, once all of this passes by, that is it. it appears convection is back building from our NE....decent convection back building just NorthWest of Beaumont area.

Still heavy freezing drizzle with little pellets. The streets are damp but still liquid. 28 degrees will eventually freeze them.
