The nice SE TX weather continues today with lots of high clouds streaming overhead. Clouds increase tomorrow ahead of a disturbance that could bring some strong to severe thunderstorms to areas S of I-10 tomorrow night. The SPC has a marginal risk area along the Middle and Upper TX Coast.

I am not impressed with any meaningful rainfall chances Friday and Saturday. The shorter term mesoscale guidance is rather bleak other than some light streamer isolated showers beneath a heavily capped SW flow aloft. Dry and cool weather looks reasonable as Spring Break begins. March like October continues to be my favorite time of year...weather wise for our Region.

Increasing clouds this afternoon with highs in the low 70s. Showers and a few thunderstorms will be possible overnight but the threat of severe weather has shifted E of SE TX. A few showers will also be possible Saturday with highs in the low 80s. A cool front will arrive early Sunday morning which will be followed by more beautiful dry weather through most of next week.
Looks to be another big miss on any rain. Not complaining as it makes it easier to work on the yard.

Where is the cool front? Still quite warm and muggy outside.

We have a couple of wild ones coming up where they missed, or thought was actual flower bed.

Today was the Chamber of Commerce Day to beat all Chamber of Commerce Days. Bright sunshine. Temps in the 60s. Dry, crisp air. Dogs in hog heaven IMBY. Bottle it up. Don't see any lows below 40°F in the area.
Mild next week and cooler toward the end of March.
Just enjoying it while it lasts. It will be hot and muggy before too long. Would like to keep the NW flow going through as much as severe season (now until May 1 here) as much as possible.
Late in the weekend/Monday is our next best chance of rain.
Nor'easter Part Trois is going nuts on the east coast. Snow from NC to ME.

Models aren’t all that impressive for this weekend
Anyone care to take a shot at our mid-April sensible weather? I have a Marine Corps friend from N.E. Alabama coming here, or I'm going there, depending on who has the better weather...trying to pre-plan Thanks!

Capping issues with a SW flow aloft typically means most areas may see a few streamer showers with a rumble or two of thunder. The greatest chances look to be well to our N and E. I wouldn't cancel any outdoor plans this weekend...stormlover wrote:Models aren’t all that impressive for this weekend
