Tropical Depression Isaac:
He appears to be completely stationary. I've had the radar loop up since about 7 pm, refreshing every now and then and it really appears to just be sitting there right over open water.
Latest recon fix shows little movement. Looks even a bit S of the previous fix.jgreak wrote:He appears to be completely stationary. I've had the radar loop up since about 7 pm, refreshing every now and then and it really appears to just be sitting there right over open water.

@wunderground: As mentioned by the models, #Isaac has taken a due west jog, parallel to the coast. Take a look on WunderMap. http://t.co/3omLcNjV

Jeff update states he is monitoring Westerward jog. He states that he is watching to see if it is a wobble or the Westward movement that several models suggested...

on the last frame of the loop it looks like, i cant say for sure and i dont want to say it. southwest movement back into gulf. not for sure though.
If this is a West jog, that's a long 2 1/2 hour jog.

LOL, this entire system has amazed me this whole time..it just does what it wants..LOL
It seems like TWC is trying to "create a dramatic story" rather than report the news. Maybe it's just me, but they keep saying it's raining hard than it looks or it's blowing harder than it looks. I don't ever remember hearing reporting like that. Just an observation.
No rain, no rainbows.
Tulane has now decided to move us out of our dorm rooms and into a central room on our floor. Now we have to sleep on the floor in a crowded room. They say it apparently is about to get a lot worse but I don't see that by looking at the radar
TWC is notorious for being over dramatic. That is why I dont like watching them cause of that...cisa wrote:It seems like TWC is trying to "create a dramatic story" rather than report the news. 9.7 ft surge at Shell Beach on Lake Borgne
Recon reports the center is now 15 miles south of where it was 1-2 hours ago and SW Pass Ob site indicates the center is now SW of that site
