Alright srain, I'm going to throw in the towel. I gave you a hard time back in early January that I have seen my coldest low temp for this fall/winter season which was 22 degrees. It's 10:30 at night and it is 20.3 degrees at my house!
I wouldn't rule out 14 to 15 degrees at the crack of dawn around here and this is with wind. Wow!

0z GFS ...not much difference other than the ULL slinging more moisture further inland...good news for some of you northern folks...
took a picture of my beautiful phildemdrums around the pool tonight....they will be dead by morning...will upload some before and after tomorrow...

For those with heated pools, crank your heat up in the pool and let it steam. Then put fans in your backyard and the steam will keep your plants alive....or should. Hurry, temps already in the lower 20s.

28F here in Pearland....Dewpoint around 17...wind still up so that will save a few degrees....probably a 22 spot for me tonight....dont think it will get to 20.....
according to local met...we won't see 40's again until Saturday..

you get a snow pack down a few inches... highs will be struggling to reach even the mid 30's Friday......

Add me to that list of those who want a snow day. Even if it doesn't snow, just the idea that it might is going to set off my second graders BIG TIME. If we don't get a snow day on Friday, I'm going to need a margarita that night I am sure.
Any chance of some thundersnow? Had some back in 2004 in Lake Jackson.

Is it still cold enough to support snow? What about the moisture, about the same as previous run?Andrew wrote:CMC warmer at upper levels:

Possibly. I wouldn't really worry though the CMC has been warm lately. I think the CMC shows as much moisture if not more.

THUNDER snow possible
Significant problems with driving on Friday.

Wouldn't temps struggle to get out of 30s Saturday as well because of the snow cover ?
Definitely marginal on the CMC for snow, probably with a lot of freezing rain mixed in, but gotta love all that QPFAndrew wrote:...
