Late August there could be an increased chance of rain. Mid September is when the rainy pattern looks to get going.

My favorite thing about this time of year. Everyone is undefeated and soon we will see games being played on TV in Michigan and Minnesota with snow showers. It gives me hope about our first cool front.

I don't believe in any rain forecast until its actually falling from the sky. Have seen weak El Ninos produce lots of rain or no rain, and Strong El Ninos also produce lots of rain or no rain. There is absolutely no correlation.

Cpv17 maybe, latest GFS run lifts the ridge far enough to the NE to allow for more of a easterly flow into SE texas, could help to drag some rain chances back into the picture after the 20th ish or so. Mid September feels like an eternity from now lol

Mid september looks like our next best chance for rain ( and when el nino should be in full control ). Rest of August looks very brutal in the rainfall department
