We got a small shower but not much accumulation. The Heat index is down to 100°F lol

Goodness...decaying front, extremely high PWATs, lift and low convective temperatures..I just hit a thunderstorm that had blinding rain..tropical downpour and urban steet flooding. Yes, Jason..wowzers

Looks like we’re about to have a busy day. San Antonio has been dealing with flooding and also there’s some flooding going on N of Madisonville. Like I mentioned yesterday, lots of energy out there.

0.43 in of rain this morning IMFY with a lot of lightning. 0.98 inches at the airport. Just west of town 2-3 inches.
It looks like a sea breeze - more like sea tsunami down near Victoria. The atmosphere feels turbocharged.

Same set up as yesterday as this moves into our area from the south. Slow movers, efficient rain makers ( high moisture content) and tropical downpours. Urban street flooding is a possibility
