There's a lot of mid-level moisture from Lorraine and off the Gulf of Baja...and it's streaming into west Texas. Lorraine is drifting off the Baja peninsula but her southern sector is being sheared and throwing SW mid-level winds over Pacific and warm Gulf of Baja...and then over the Mexican mountains toward Texas as the westerlies are picking up. The amount of tropical energy is likely considerably less that Chantal, but something to keep a wary eye out as clouds move our way. That air was freakin' juicy this morning. All surfaces were fogged up with dew.

Pacific moisture + a triggering frontal boundary during the weekend in Texas. No problem, right? Right?

Down to 20% now for Saturday. Sunday could be wet though.
