Reaching I-10 and I-610. Tornado warning extended to area around Rice U.
Equivalent of a CAT 2-3 eyewall heading into Houston. Radar indicated winds 120 mph gusts.

Got really bad here in Cypress. Sky got green fast then pitch black. Bad hail storm (pea size) and wind. Rain has passed but still really windy. Been without power for 45 minutes.
Potentially 477K without power.
So much for Matt Lanza… This is by far the strongest winds I’ve ever seen outside of Hurricane Ike. There is damage EVERYWHERE the scariest situation I’ve been in weather wise.
Might completely miss me.

We got lucky up in CLL with lots of rain only. The two supercells that came through produced the darkest skies I've ever seen caused by any T-storm.
