Yeah, could be a problem. Could be even worse for Lake Charles.prospects8903 wrote: ↑Mon Sep 13, 2021 10:31 pm Getting a little nervous about slow movement or stalling over the golden triangle
September 2021: Hurricane Nicholas

Technically, I think you are in the eye wall...
Enjoy it man! Not too many times you can say you’re basically in the eye of a hurricane. Soak it all in. My adrenaline would be going bananas lol
wow...4 days ago I called a cat 1 at landfall AND a stall over the golden triangle...damn I' m good

Blowing pretty decently in W league city
CoC appears to have stalled, at least momentarily. The bucking bronco ride is going to last a bit.

Man, for a cat 1 hurricane this thing has some punch to it
Why did they not extend the hurricane warning to Galveston? Seriously?

Wife and kids are officially in freak out mode
I hear you-in Meyerland and winds howling
Looks like the Eastward movement has stalled, and a more Northward movement is beginning.
The dew point here is below 70F. Not what you would expect with a storm still to the west of this longitude. Lots of dry air to the north and west.

Man how much longer before this hoe makes landfall?
I've seen plenty of potent hurricanes in NC (Sept, Oct) where the DP is under 70°F in outer bands.

I've got the CoC now onshore with that northward jog. That windfield has really expanded this evening.
