looking at the radar it may make landfall in louisiana somewhere

Chance the NHC UPDATE in 1/2 hour NICHOLAS is a HURRICANE..... just found 79mph WIND ON RADAR

They haven't updated all their graphics but the NHC is referring to it as a cane on their front page.

Wind has really picked up in the last 15 minutes in Iowa Colony. Weak power already flickering.

CoC about 1-2 mil offshore. Western "eyewall" ashore.
