Re: February 2021: Arctic Outbreak/Winter Storm Warning ⚠️

TBF, wind turbines in the Dakotas don’t go offline. This is a walk in the park for those in Fargo or Minneapolis. They’re laughing at uss and how we’ll need Federal assistance for snow and cold. I had to explain last night to my post-doc from Europe that he did not have to show up for work. In Chic...

Re: February 2021: Arctic Outbreak/Winter Wx Likely

Re: Temperature and Latitude Analysis to Predict Potential Spread and Seasonality for COVID-19

I hope everyone has a safe Thanksgiving - I feel the need to tell you 1 of my cousins died from COVID-19 pneumonia on the 9th & today my youngest brother was just admitted to the hospital with the same, oxygen level in the 80s at the time, but better, so far. His entire family has either tested ...

Eta is looking like a very serious storm. Could potentially impact the Gulf coast as well. Some of the model runs are bombing her out big time in the western Caribbean heading towards the Gulf. 150 mph & strengthening, this is devastating for Central America, my heart weeps https://www.nhc.noaa...

Re: October 2020: Tracking Hurricane Delta

one of the features Chris put on the "storm page" at Tropical Atlantic was movement based on derived data from best track, it auto-calcs, so no guess-work if you have things to do & still want to follow closely http://hurricanecity.com/models/models.cgi?basin=al&year=2020&storm...
