I know there are a few from the Angleton area here... There is a boil water notice and with continuing issues with the 911 service the usual emergency message wasn't sent via the phone. Virtually no water pressure anyways... same deal here, we had our power shut down shortly before dark on the cold...

you can wrap water pipes at risk with heat tape,and they make blankets for water heaters - much safer and less expensive than letting a space heater run unattended or leaving the attic open
