Alright I am tired of these little showers when is the big stuff moving in?

Actually it looks like i am going to see some snow on friday evening!

I am going on a college visit to the university of chicago next week and I was wondering what weather conditions I should be expecting? I know it's going to be cold but is it going to be icy or snowy?

It's awesome that there is even a chance for something interesting this coming weekend! I know it's not probable but you never know maybe we can pull another christmas miracle

we keep on referring to this weekend and early next week as "interesting" is this because there is a possibility for some sort of frozen precipitation? or is it just because it may rain?

So are the NWS temperatures too high or are they right on track?

I hope thunderstorms start to fire up along that line because as of now the line looks extremely disappointing

I am half kidding but i am also half serious. We need rain and if we don't get it this drought will continue to destroy. Ill take the hurricane. Obviously i hope everyone evacuates and there is no loss of life.
