Re: July: Sea Breeze Showers Popping Over Houston!

A certain tv weather personality just said that he didn't think those storms we are seeing entering liberty county right now would make it here - they only look to be increasing in intensity to me, surely with all the heating and sunshine we have had today we would have a pretty good chance, right?

Re: 2011 NATL Hurricane Season: Models Hint Development

At this point, can it be pretty certainly ruled out of a more northerly track bringing it closer to us here in SE TX? I know a lot of discussions have indicated the TX/MX border as its most northerly potential track.

Re: February 5-28, 2011 Discussion: Another Arctic Blast ?

looking at the source region....nothing really eye popping...granted with all the snow pack the air will not modify as much but I dont think we will be as cold as this last week.....Personally I think we are done this year for extreme cold here in SE TX... time for Tropical weather.... :D Bring it ...

I'm in Kingwood, currently a VERY light drizzle, still liquid on my outdoor table, and temperature reading 29...how does this make sense?

Is that cap going to be sticking around again this time? Jeez I really hope not, I missed out on my summer thunderstorms last year, would sure hate to have a repeat of it this year!

Re: May Weather Discussion

So this cap that is finally gone, is this temporary, or will it be coming back soon? I know it was with us for a long time, what actually made it go away finally?
