how reliable is the cmc tho lol

On a scale of 0-10, where 10 is "most reliable," I'd give the CMC a negative 2
well that's encouraging

Its done well in the past with winter weather events even if it has a cold biacy, I will say though its been the most consistent model ( meaning no really big changes at the 500 mb level on every run) guess we will see if its on the right path or not lol

Just be careful with the hype that is still going on here and there. The data is just not there to support armageddon. It is not wise to call it until the weekend.

Data is there, some of yall jump the gun and start going negative because yall jump non stop. Hurricanes and winter weather always wait about 3 days before you get so gungo about models but stop being a negative Nancy

Did we not expect flip flopping in the model runs as always?

From Wxman 57 concerning the model runs...

None of the models is likely handling next week's upper flow pattern well. Don't trust any run - yet.

LOL

Everyone is speaking in terms of how it looks now. We've also said we need to take another honest look over the weekend. This forum is always bouncing back and forth just like the models. It's a daily thing. We absolutely do not have a guarantee either direction, and we will not have for a few days.

There is a difference between negativity and keeping it real. Crow does not taste very good. On my menu it will not be.

POW is speaking about it today. He offers no guarantees , but he does get into detail about the possibilities.
