Texas was hit by multiple floods in 1940, June and December.

The June 1940 flood hit Central Texas and was caused by a slow moving cold front in the summer.

The November 1940 flood hit Southeast Texas and was caused by combination of stationary cold front and warm front.

The September 1921 Flood is the deadliest flooding from heavy rain. It claimed a total of 215 lives. It was caused by remnant of Hurricane #2, which made landfall on Mexico was a Category 1 hurricane. It traveled towards Texas and heavy rain fell. Core rain formed around the center of the low on the night of September 9-10, 1921. They occurred in two bursts in Taylor, Texas from 7 to 11PM and 3 to 7 AM. Light rain fell in between and during the day. 38.20 inches of rain fell in 18 hours in Thrall, Texas. There were other heavy rain centers over Laredo and Houston area. It is also one San Antonio's most destructive flood in history.
