Calgary, the third largest city in Canada and dubbed "Houston of Canada" as it is a major oil and energy place, has been hit by severe flooding. Rain amounts as high as 8 inches have fallen in a city that gets 12 inches of rain in a year. That is two-thirds of their annual rainfall.
