Hurricane season program?
Is KHOU airing a program about this year's hurricane season? If so, when? Thanks.

It was very good. I enjoyed it. It seems like every station shows one around this time of year but this one was different and I really liked it. Thanks.

I just had the chance to view the replay of ‘Storm Warnings- An Inside Look’ that was originally aired last Monday. One of the greatest tools we have both here along the Texas Gulf Coast as well as all of our neighbors across Coastal areas that extends from the Caribbean and ALL of The Gulf of Mexico are the many folks that are members of our Forum as well as David Paul, Mario Gomez, Chita Johnson and Brooks Garner as well as our own venerable Dr. ‘Doc’ Neil Frank. You see many of us have been here in the area for most if not all of lives and have experienced just what tropical cyclones can do to our Coastline. It is our goal to always provide good and factual information to ALL of our folks, be they members or just those that view our Weather Forum for information. We folks that have worked so hard to provide information, be it rain storms, floods, severe weather, freezes, winter weather and most importantly…tropical weather recommit to continue our endeavors and will always remember that our ‘mission statement’ is to continue what we have done as a weather online community since 2001 and with heartfelt thanks to KHOU, Belo Corporation and the KHOU Weather Team for having faith and understanding the role our forum plays in this information age. We have expanded our social media presence to include frequent updates via face book and twitter as well as major upgrades to our weather forum platform to a dedicated server that allows for more data and higher speed. The visions of what many had hoped for and worked so hard to develop are now in place. Dan would be so proud of what we as a team have accomplished as this was 'his baby' that we have nurtured as best we could. We stand ready to continue the tradition and informational discussion in a calm, informative and factual way that allows ALL that follow our discussions to make wise decisions. One of the things that set the KHOU Weather Forum apart from other online venues is our spirit of community, a good neighbor policy if you will, that stretches well beyond the Houston Metro to all our neighbors along the Gulf Coast from Mexico to the Florida Keys and beyond!

I agree with everything you said. This is my "go to" place for weather info, especially during hurricane season. We have a great set of weather gurus who are an expansive data base of knowledge and experience. That said, I did watch "Stormwarnings" when it aired. It sure did cause me to get busy getting my hurricane supplies together now rather than later.
Met some lovely folks at hurricane workshops (working my table) who said wonderful things about this wx forum!
Something to be proud of, for sure.
