My how our 'little weather board' has grown since 2001. Portastorm has been added to the Senior Member group as well. Portastorm offers a unique perspective from Central Texas and represents the 'dream' that was intended when Dan started this community and nurtured it to expand beyond the Houston Metro Area. Our members now spread from Coast to Coast, from N to S. Portastorm has been a part of this community since its early days and continues to bring valuable discussions and analysis from the Central Texas Region. Portastorm has brought us many laughs throughout the years during the winter months with his never ending wish to see frigid cold and a 6-8 inch snow blanket covering the Hill Country Highlands. Congrats Portastorm. And thank you as well Txflagwaver for what you bring to our weather board family.

I'm very honored and humbled by the tag. Because Austin doesn't have such a great forum like KHOU, I needed to find a local home and you all are my home! This forum has excellent moderators and members and I really enjoy being here. Thanks so much and here's to snow for Houston and Austin this winter!!
