Houston AMS Meeting at KHOU Dec. 13th

Our last meeting of 2011 will be held on Tuesday, December 13th. The meeting will be held at KHOU 11 News at 6:30pm. Our speaker will be Gene Norman who is the Chief Meteorologist at KHOU. He will also be graciously providing pizza and soda for our meeting.

If you will be attending the meeting, please RSVP to Lance Wood (lance.wood@noaa.gov) by Sunday, December 11th as we will need a head count for Gene.

You do not have to be an AMS member to attend, but we do encourage you to join if you're interested in meteorology. I think the dues are only about $10/year.

We had a great meeting tonight at the KHOU Studios. It was awesome to meet svrwx0503 and some of the meteorologist from NWS Houston/Galveston. I believe I convinced Gene Norman to at least drop in once a week and Chita Johnson sends her regards.
