18z GFS has a TX/LA border landfall with very little rain from it in Texas.
Very heavy rain right now, at least the temps will be cooler after the rain.

CPV17 we will see their are other models that take this further to the west especially the NAM, hope the west trend continues though

Interesting flare up in the BOC.
What are the odds the center gets pulled more to the East under those storms?

Rip76 Id say the odds are slim but not 0% i just think thats just conevection firing up on the NE side of this system, the reason the “center” down by mexico doesnt have much convection is because of the proximity to land, I suspect when the “center” starts to turb northward we will see convection really start to fire up around it, again i dont really buy that convection as a likely spot for the center to reform (yet)but we will see, its up to mother nature really.
That's actually what models show happening. As a tropical wave merges with 92l from the Caribbean. That is when tc genesis is expected to happen. And a new center is expected to reform further north. Just how far northeast the llc will reform or be tugged by shear. Will determine what impacts of any we will have here locally.Interesting flare up in the BOC.

Yep that is what I was pointing out earlier. It is quite possible the center forms up in that cluster and that is what ends up moving it into LA instead of TX.

I really dont want to get shafted by this system and be on the dry and hot side, keeping ky dingers crossed the reformation doesnt occur that far Northeast
id rather us take the hit from a weak system then to be left in the furnace, baking
Yep the main circulation was always supposed to reform near that region, the reason for the varying tracks over the last few days is that models have differed on exactly how far north the LLC will form. My street is flooded now....

It seems the Euro ensemble really favorsTexas, we shall see, wish systems like this were not such a headache to forecast tbh
Keep hoping for rain imby today. So far all the storms have evaporated and sidestepped me.
That’s one hell of a storm between Madisonville and College Station!

Getting slammed in League City! It’s like a tropical storm with extremely intense lightning. When outflow boundaries collide; they can throw a serious party. Power outage one neighborhood next to ours……..almost lost power just now.

This giant storm to the southeast literally pivoted around my house. I could see the rain, but none fell here.
