May 2021:
Saturday the storms might die out before they reach us. The NW side will most likely get the most action by the looks of it.

DoctorMu huh?
He’s saying that if a front stalls in the Gulf it’ll need to be watched for tropical development since SST’s are warming.

https://www.tropicaltidbits.com/analysis/ocean/ Here is the link, and you can definitely see how fast the Northern Gulf has heated up just in the past 7-8 days. Definitely watching that front as it moves into the gulf just in case
Outflow and line of storms moving toward the Red River valley. There's a chance the Brazos Valley will get a taste by dawn. Just mowed the front, and wish I had gotten to the back yard...
...but that's why I bought a mower with a 190 cc Honda engine.
Cuts through tall grass like buttah.

Certainly don’t need an Alicia type spin up for sure.
It’s raining here again.
So done with this for awhile.

Pretty salty out near LaPorte
Coming down in Friendswood
Outflow just swept SW through Friendswood to cause that blow up. Curious if it keeps firing up new storms as it keeps trucking.

The complex well to the northwest needs to be watched for later. Daytime heating will be in full gear by then. It is sunny behind the outflow boundary.
Yep. The only dry air is near the surface and major heating. This complex is about to jailbreak.TexasBreeze wrote: ↑Fri May 28, 2021 12:41 pm The complex well to the northwest needs to be watched for later. Daytime heating will be in full gear by then. It is sunny behind the outflow boundary.

A nice evening satellite image of the storm complex with overshooting tops. Should make for a nice lightning show tonight.

The HRR looks like it wants to give me a pretty good soaking tonight. We’ll see!
Please let this fizzle our or stay north. I need a few more days of dry so I can attempt to mow the backyard swamp.
