Talk about a lot of property and vehicle problems! My truck wouldn't like temps anywhere below freezing! I have never seen a model that cold here before. 9 around Montgomery county and -20's panhandle???
Still a more entertaining model pic to see than the Super bowl was tonight.

Yeah, no kidding! That game was trash lol I couldn’t even finish watching it. And it has gotten into the single digits before in southeast Texas. If it’s happened before then I guess it could happen again. Who knows. That’s a long ways out still.TexasBreeze wrote: ↑Sun Feb 07, 2021 10:13 pm Talk about a lot of property and vehicle problems! Don, do you think the euro will trend colder now?
I think it may, not only because the other globals are colder this run.But also because the 18z Euro was much colder than its previous run so it could be the start of a trend. But you never know when it comes to these model runs and what there gonna show lol.
At first the cold was supposed to come this Tuesday/Wednesday. Then it was Thursday, then Saturday, now Sunday. Just a few hours ago models were showing a winter storm for Saturday. Now it’s pushed back to Monday the 15th. Craziness!
Channel 13 showing lows in the upper 30s, highs mid 50s next week with little to no precip.
0z EURO came in colder than its previous run fwiw, looks like its slowly getting on-board.
6z GFS is very cold. Pretty much all models now are showing cold by this weekend. Now we look for consistency and if it’s still showing this by Wednesday then it’s probably coming.

You folks should start monitoring the NAM regarding the first front on Wednesday. The NAM does a good job regarding shallow airmasses and may assist in just how cold the first push will be.
