So is the COC for Laura south of Cuba or did it just emerge off the northwest end? I really can't tell looking at the NHC IR

Satellite is more than likely picking up on the MLC emerging off the northwest end. The LLC is estimated to be further south based on recon. Whether that results in a center relocation later tonight is still to be seen.

Zoom in the windmap and Laura's lower level winds match NHC's center.

Center looks to have reformed AGAIN to the south, just south of Cuba could have implications on Laura's track.
