Thank you. I’m trying to make a decision whether to board up my house in Baytown. Time is running out.

I would say yes that you should go ahead and do that. Baytown could definitely be impacted.

They should have just left the track alone in the first place.

San Luis Pass it looks like. Agrees with the HMON.

Good morning!

Looks like the models are still all over the place this morning and landfall location for Laura is still uncertain.

Just wanted to take a sec and say thank you for the late night /all night/early morning tracking you have been doing to keep us safe. You are appreciated!

I would say anywhere from Rockport to Vermilion Bay could be in the line of fire.

I’d close that from Rockport to Cameron and I’m beginning to think anything east of TX/LA is going to be a non option after this afternoon.

I've been catching up from over night information. Thanks for those that late nighters who read models.

How is the confidence that Houston/Galveston could get hit?

Still low. I’m not sure what the NHC is seeing that I am not.

My guess is the strength of the SE ridge.

With that said, I’d make a wager this thing doesn’t go further east than the TX/LA border.

Thats not good especially if this becomes a Major. they may need to start evacuations today if this becomes consistent with models.

06Z ECMWF EPS suggest another shift S and W may be possible. Worrisome tracks for a stronger Laura.

Yikes. Hardly any of the 6z euro ensembles make landfall e of the border.

Yep... NHC, man. Get it right at next update.

HWRF is furthest east into Cameron
