Hurricane Alex

A Hurricane Warning continues in effect from Baffin Bay to La Cruz
Mexico. At 4 PM Hurricane Alex was located about 95 miles
south southeast of Brownsville and was moving west around 15
mph. Alex is a Category 1 Hurricane but could briefly strengthen
to a Category 2 just before landfall. Heavy rainbands will
continue to move over Deep South Texas this evening accompanied by
heavy rains...gusty winds to 60 mph and isolated tornadoes. Residents
and visitors to the Valley are urged to monitor the latest statements
and possible warnings from your National Weather Service Office in
Brownsville. -Campbell-

It could be the function of the new board and the ability to post images. I know I raised some concerns when activity picked up that when there was a influx of images that simple text only questions could easily be missed.

I'm sure with it being the first storm of the season any issues can be worked out moving forward.

Having some healthy little wind gusts all the way up here in Orange County! Slow drizzles of rain most of the day with occasional thunder and heavy rain. The wind gusts a few minutes ago was a bit of a surprise though since it wasn't during a heavy rain.
