Thank you Belmer for the updates.
Folks in Pearland, Brookside Village look to be in the bullseye for this to move over. Has shown some signs of weakening but need to be alert until this moves through.

NWS Chat saying unless something changes, they do not plan on extending the current Tornado Warning after it expires at 2:15a. Signs of rotation have lessened. Regardless, areas on the south side could have winds up to 60+mph as these storms roll through.

Have lost power here in Pasadena. What a storm though that blew through this side of town.
I'm about to head to bed. After this initial line moves through, light to moderate showers may persist for the next hour. Things should clear out by sunrise which will result to a drier day... though isolated showers are still possible.
Those on the east side of I-45 towards Beaumont, heavy rain with vivid lightning is heading your way. As we've seen, can't rule out a quick spin up or two as the line moves through. Be on guard.

Pretty intense thunderstorm in College Station last night around 10-11 last night. Beautiful morning today.
Saw the reports of the bad stuff at Pearland and points south. Hope I don't come home this evening to unpleasant surprises.

What a glorious pleasant and less humid morning. I picked up just over 2 inches in my backyard over the last 48 hours. I see College Station broke a long lasting daily rainfall record dating back to 1904 yesterday. I know there is some flood issues yesterday and some homes did have water seep in and I do see reports of trees down and such from winds. Enjoy the quiet weather the next couple days. Rain and storms return beginning Monday and look to continue into next weekend.

I slept through the entire event! Hubby told me this morning it was lightning a lot here in Stafford. I noticed this morning that our pool and ponds picked up a good bit of water.
srain, yes it feels wonderful outside this morning!

We got about 1-3/4" here in NW Brazoria County. The rain was pretty intense, at times, but not too bad. We did have a couple of 'flash-boom' strikes, but our power stayed up, and I'm not seeing any damage around the yard this morning.

Picked up 1.75" last night and was up around 2AM to watch the line of thunderstorms pass through my area. It was not too bad considering I was a under a Tornado Warning. Enjoying the sun and partly cloudy skies this afternoon and will again tomorrow. A stormy wet week ahead.
The 12z Euro is crazy wet for southeast TX.
The SPC is already calling for multiple rounds of severe weather across the state for this coming week. Most of that appears to be just to the north of us at the current time though.
