Brooks we'll miss you. Always admired how enthusiastic you were in your weather reports and explaining to viewers the science behind the weather. Wish you and your family the best moving forward.

Surprised to hear the news - he was one of my favorite on-air meteorologist not just in Houston, but in general.
He always did an excellent job in not only how he presented the weather on TV but how he would be able to explain our fluid atmosphere in layman terms where it would make complete sense to any viewer watching. Sad to see him go.
Wish him all the best!

I will also severely miss Brooks. Brooks communicated the science easily and beautifully.
We're very blessed in Houston to have as many well qualified and communicative mets on-air as we do.
I hope he lands somewhere soon, wherever that may be.

Brooks found a job!
"In just a few weeks, I will join the Fox 31 [KDVR] and and 'Colorado's Own 2' Pinpoint weather team [KWGN] as the morning meteorologist for FOX 31," Garner posted on Facebook, today.
His dogs have the fur to appreciate Denver.
Gratz, Brooks! Don't be a stranger.

Hi, friends! The move to Colorado went well, with no major issues. I've been settling into the new station and getting oriented with and acclimated to the high plains/mountain weather patterns. Glad to be here on the forum! Thank you again for all of your kind words!
