SE Texas/Victoria/Corpus Christi Harvey Media Panel. Blake Mathews shared his experience and video as Harvey Flood waters begin to rise at the KHOU Allen Pkwy Studios and the point when David Paul made the call for a helicopter recue from the roof to evacuate as flood waters were approaching the second story. Water eventually reached 7 ft inside the TV Station.

KATC 3 Chief Met Rob Perillo from Lafayette, LA, Hurricane Hunter Lt. Garrett Black, and Harris County Flood Control District Met Jeff Lindner.

Jeff received this year’s William Gray award which was very well deserved after his continuous work for days during Harvey. Every time I looked at the TV I saw Jeff giving updates.
