I think, and this is my opinion, they are seriously trying to go by the book. Making sure all the i's are dotted and t's are crossed.Andrew wrote:davidiowx wrote:Is it possible the NHC has waited to issue warnings because they are unsure where it will actually end up? I know the LLC not being evident has been to topic of the day, but is it possible the storm could end up further N than the models? Or further West? Just a honest question.
No. That will never be the case.

Guys, let's keep the conversation on topic. We will have plenty of time later to discuss why or why not this storm wasn't declared earlier and any other "political issues"

Looks like plane is heading back. It has to be named Bill very soon in my opinion.
What's the lowest pressure so far?
How soon will Mr. Bill be here?mcheer23 wrote:Paul Robison wrote:Say what????mcheer23 wrote:We now have Bill!!!!
Yes! Tropical storm bill has born!
If they don't put out a special advisory it should be around 930 that a full package is put out.
1005mb is what they are calling it, but it looks like recon may have found lower (close to 1001mb iirc)Rip76 wrote:What's the lowest pressure so far?
Jogging almost due North the past few radar frames...
Is it me or does there not seem to be a lot of rain with this storm?
Maybe today has been misleading?

There is plenty of moisture with this storm. Long fetch moisture extends back into the NW Caribbean Sea and across Cuba.

Storm is still 200-300 miles away and radar is looking pretty high up.
