On Wednesday, October 23, the Houston chapter of the AMS will have their fall meeting. For those interested in attending, the speaking information and location are listed below. Annual dues are only $20.00 and is open to everyone be they weather enthusiast or professional. I'm going to make an effort to attend and look forward to seeing our members there.

I'll be there, too. Where the heck did all those hurricanes go this year? Maybe we'll find out at the meeting...

Where did they go? Is this a harbinger of things to come? Will winter be nasty one in Houston? :) Stay tuned at the conference for answers.
