Radar animation of Hurricane Audrey making landfall.

Some think that Hurricane Audrey had a pressure as low as 925 millibars and winds of 180 mph at a oil rig. It would be highly unusual to see a hurricane with such low pressure in June in Gulf of Mexico.

The Doppler radar suggests it is probably Category 2 at most. It is also quite a large storm.
