Too soon to tell. The GFDL has been the far right outlier of the Hurricane guidance and also much stronger in suggesting a Major Hurricane. Ed Mahmoud wrote:Globals, especially GFS and Euro, have been handling the very slow pace of strengthening well. I suspect 18Z GFS forecast may be close to what happens.
