This is so aggravating. I saw some sleet earlier today in Sugar Land, but have not seen anything come down from the sky worth celebrating. If I was to get in my car and drive north, how far would I have to go in order to see some moderate amount of snow come down?

Just started snowing near the Galleria. Good call with the timing wxman57!
3:08 pm to 6:15 pm, talked to mom & dad in Onalaska, TX (near Livingston). They said snow was coming down so thick they couldn't see the boat ramp across from their front yard and it was accumulating rapidly. Mom has an antique sled from NY, she's selling sled rides down the hill their house sits on if there's any takers. LOL

Moderate snow in NW Harris County. Heaviest so far today.

A Few Flakes mixed in with rain were coming down near Reliant Stadium. Would have loved more but got to be happy to see two snow events in one winter.
Moderate snow in Spring!

I am blocks north of the Galleria, and am watching white flakes coming down! Just goes to show what a difference a mile or two can make...

It has ended for now over here. Definitely not enough for accumulation but we certainly had some snow coming down...wxdata wrote:Sir, yes sir!!txsnowmaker wrote:

Winding down up here near Lake Conroe. We still have big flakes coming down but as wxman pointed out, just too darn warm for it to stick good. It is just not starting to stick and the moisture is moving out. I made a wet snowball or two off of the vehicles and that was it so I guess you could say we had a trace amount of accumulation. Now if it would of been freezing, I think we would of gotten a solid 3+inches where I am. We had some heavy snow falling between 4:30 and 5:30 that would of laid down a nice solid blanket of snow if the temp wasn't 36 degrees. lol It was very pretty to watch though.
Ok srain, get that next topic started!
