Nada at my house over the past couple of days with the seabreeze showers dancing all around me. I was in Cooperstown all of the week before last and hear we got a little over an inch near my house. It did absolutely nothing...still dusty bone dirt dry and crap dieing all around me. Come on hurricane!!

We had a nice, heavy but brief shower in downtown Austin on Friday afternoon during the rush hour.

There is hope as shown by GFS and EURO. Both show an inverted trough and TUTT over the western Gulf of Mexico.

The Euro continues to advertise an Upper Low traversing the Gulf in the coming week. Rain chances could increase later in the week if that model is correct.

Wow that thing has just mushroomed. Wow. I am not sure we ( Humble) will get in on the action, but it has covered the sun and thus cooled it down a little.

Well, they say to be careful what you wish for. It is bad here in Porter, Montgomery County. Not complaining, at all, however. Glorious rain. Yes! :)

Wow! What a downpour here in Spring! Well over an inch of rain as well. Only downside is that we had continuous power surges and blackouts, but after being missed on so man pop up showers it was soooo nice to finally get some sustained rain! :D

PS: Cub Scout Day Camp.....*shakes head* the kids were great but when we got back in the car the temp was 105-108 (regardless was the official temp said it was hotter - esp. with heat index). Kids were dropping like flies from dehydration....and I'm still sick from it. We even had coyotes in the camp (complete with HPD watches). Can't believe there wasn't a heat advisory at some point.

Played a bunch of disc golf today with my son and dang was it hot. He is a weather freak also and we watched storms dance around us playing on a course off of Woodlands Parkway. We left and decided to play another course in River Plantation (Conroe) and while driving down Woodlands Parkway towards I-45, we hit a very nice hard rain shower! We road with our windows down and hands out the window! Man did that feel good! Of course when we got home, not a drop of rain here.

That was crazy tonight out in Porter. Tons of lightening and rain.
No rain, no rainbows.
