Just heard from my neighboring ranch owner in Madison County. He said it is coming down hard up there and accumulating. Also my wife said it is 39 at our house (and dropping) with heavy precip.

A great deal of bright banding going on northwest of Houston.

Starting to get some sleet mixing in with the rain. Temp dropped about 3 degrees and DP in the low 30's now.

The Doppler radar is picking up oranges and red in Montgomery County. Most likely it is ice in the clouds.

The snow line could be just to the NW of that bright band shown on radar

My aunt works at the Conroe airfield and she said it's just rain currently. I will let you know as soon as the change over happens.

There is also snow mixed with rain in northwest Montgomery County now, too.
