Where can we start looking for the moisture feed that forecasted to give us the ice and snow here in SE Texas. Would love to be able to follow its development and approach to us.
Its 28 here at the house.

yes it does Kat.....I remember our days during Rita, IKE, Humberto, the Impact Weather Seminar....fun times....in 09 I got about 2 inches of snow and League City maybe got a trace. This system is bigger and badder than 04 so i think you will get your share this year...
for the person who is asking about north or south of I10...No one can answer that question until we closer to the event. Depends on where the heavier snow bands set up...plain and simple. I think everyone will see accumalations...JMO of course...

My bad, Jeff. I deleted your post in the January thread, while trying to move it to the Feb Discussion.
Please try again.

You know, all we need is 4.1" of snow to fall at IAH for it to be the second highest total ever recorded in Houston...second only to the Valentines Day Super Storm of 1895.

Steve, I'm not sure what you are seeing bud. The second biggest snowfall on record is 4.4" in Feb. 1960. There is potential to break that with this storm at IAH.
