Can you show us? Where is that info?Andrew wrote:12Z cmc 2m temps are just crazy. CMC predicts 2m temps to be 10F on Sat morning in HOUSTON! That isn't even the worst part between San Antonio and Houston the CMC has temps getting down to 0!! That would be amazing but I see no chance in that happening.

My thinking it is too early. Just two days ago traces of snow seemed possible and now we are talking about inches. A lot can and will change between now and then. Also there is no way we can predict exact locations this far out. So I would caution people from saying one place is going to get more than another. We just don't know.

Hey, can one of you good folks in Tx help a neighbor (me) to your east? Can one of you push that magic blue line to New Orleans so we can get in on the fun? There's boiled crawfish and gumbo in it for you!

This is also the same guy who said 2-4" in Brownsville yesterday. Come on. If anybody should leary, it should be the residents in Brownsville. There's no way they will get that much. I will eat a huge plate of crow if that happens.redneckweather wrote:He is probably right CC. Source at HGX ASSURED ME that this is NOT a Christmas 2004 event and inland areas WILL SEE the highest accumulations (exclamation point). Also, he said Lake Charles could get a massive ice storm.

With very cold tmeps in the forecast and some of us not even reaching freezing tomorrow or Thursday, folks, HOUSTON ROADS ARE GOING TO BE A DISASTER....this is a serious situation taking shape.
I am new at posting, but have been a long time reader of this forum. I am addicted. I would like any of yall's thoughts or comments regarding a trip I have to take Thurs. night. i will be leaving Houston around 7:30PM and driving to Dilley,Tx (about 85 miles south of San Antonio on I-35). Do i need to be concerned about any snow or ice? Thanks for the help.

As I sit here with baited breath, awaiting a winter weather event, I wonder why it is noone has been giving real thoughts on what some METS, including Bastardi say about next week. No talk of precip, as it's too early. However, they are talking temps like we have now, and even lower.
Now, with that said, I drop to my knees, and ask Mother Nature to give all of us a nice blanket of the white stuff. Then, I can once again prove to my friends up north that yes, it does indeed snow here. I remind them they don't get hurricanes, but they fire back with the old, "Yeah, but you don't get blizzards!" I reply, "Oh yes we do!!!" Hello Dairy Queen!!!!
