"Rain Turtles" anyone? How about just a good old fashioned "Rain Dance"? Every day I keep reminding myself: one day closer to the end of August. The older I get, the longer it seems for summer to end.

GFS keeps trying to weaken and shift our heat ridge off to the west in the day 9-10 window , has a pretty decent trough developing over the eastern US and diving S to SW, hopefully we see guidance start to show this outcome

If it were ANY other model, I'd start to think about the notion of possibly getting excited.

12z Euro is pretty darn encouraging, first run in a while that show any rainfall of significance, definitely a wetter pattern in the 9-10 day window on that run, and Euro is the undisputed king when it comes to handeling upper air patterns
