Technically, we've just past the "hottest calendar day" of the year. The heat continues, but we're progged for more mid to upper 90s. Berta over NOLA has been our only 100+°F day in CLL. Hopefully, I haven't jinxed things with a silver lining of optimism.

GFS is such a cruel tease, pretty decent FROPA showing up around the 27th, so far out ugh

I see changes in the 7-10 say window, models are coming into better agreement that the heat ridge is going to split apart, leaving texas in an area of general weakness between the highs , im pretty confident daily rain chances will be returning soon
