Trust me, be careful what you wish for, se texas can handle a decent tropical storms right now, but if this were to track towards central and western texas, the results would be catastrophic

Welp…..things got pretty interesting overnight. Looks like I picked the wrong night to try and sleep. Good idea to get prep started today. Yes, things can change. I hope people don’t start hoarding toilet paper again.

I have confirmed via personal dropsondes that potential Bertha does NOT have the lettuce diarrhea. That’s a win.

Hopefully HGX repairs the radar down in League City before the system makes its appearance!

And here we go, i expected development, but this was faster than even i anticipated. There is a legitimate chsnce this could become a hurricane if it stays off shore, the environment the next 3 days actually looks fairly conducive….

My forecast high for Wednesday in League City is 99°. That is just ridiculous and no one asked for that and I hate Summer with a passion.

Hurricane hunters should be flying out later this afternoon. Should help models with fresh data ingested from the reconnaissance flight.

That is a serious high that will be in charge of our weather this week Our dear captain alluded to it, 595 to.597 dam with west winds pulling in hot air from the Sonoran Desert.

It appears the plane is on the way into TD#2 looking on tropical tidbits. Take model runs with a large grain of salt until this data makes its way into model runs later this evening
