I see the WARNING for Louisiana coast but just WATCHES along the TX coast. No warnings for Texas. Just a watch per NHC.

Wonder if this rotating band will whip us later or dissipate once it hits land like so many others have done today.

What a dud lol.. It will be a waste of a name to call this Arthur in my opinion. As one would say from the movie Grandma’s Boy “Sh*ts Weak”!

I agree. I personally think it’s dumb af to name this junk lol
This also might be the second time in a row now the WPC placed me in the 7-10” zone and I only got around 3” both times. My doubts about it verifying a couple days ago will probably be justified.

Hell they had Beaumont a few times forecasted up to 8”-12” for this event. I have received 2” total so far in Beaumont. Now, I may eat crow tomorrow, but as of this writing? Uneventful so far.

Weather is always to be taken seriously, but with a grain of salt. Things can change on a dime. Many folks did see flooding. We will see for Wednesday, then after that this event is done for us. Barring anymore big shifts, of course. Mama always taught me to save for a rainy day even if the rain never comes.

So very true. Always fraught with uncertainty.biggerbyte wrote: ↑Tue Jun 16, 2026 9:29 pm Weather is always to be taken seriously, but with a grain of salt. Things can change on a dime. Reverse bust Sunday night to a total bust today. Still, I'll take the 4 inches of rain we've had IMFY.

Radar filling in nicely to our south.. area around lake jackson especially. One hour accumulations of 2+inches observed, with minimal training. Watching to see how this develops
