.99 inches yesterday and 2.13 inches for the event. Nothing until Tuesday night an We’d.
Blue skies today. I’m OK with results so far, as long as El Niño saves some for summer.

Yeah we got some nice rains Friday-Sat but the NWS had us wet through Monday. I had a 90% of rain today (from Friday’s forecast). There was supposed to be widespread (not isolated but widespread) 5-7” of rain with isolated 10”+. Day after day, forecasts from the HPC and the various models painted this as a lot more than what actually materialized.

I’d call this a bust.

At least many folks actually got several inches of rain, plus we have another shot at widespread rain tuesdat night- wednesday. Euro stalls out another front to begin june with waves of rain. We will have plenty more opportunities to cash in on rain the next several weeks

I hate the timing of these MCS’s that come through. Next one looks like it’s coming again in the morning hours on Wednesday.

I don't expect much on Wednesday and Thursday on QPF.
Popcorn showers for today and tomorrow.
Summer feels like it's here today. I'll take unsettled forecasts, even if they underperform...as a couple of troughs pass midweek and a weak backdoor FROPA lurks next weekend.

Below average temperatures look to dominate our pattern through the end of the first week of june, cant complain about that!

I would be watching that MCS late tonight for a flooding threat assuming the HRRR is correct on its depiction.Especially in the SW counties. I wouldn’t be surprised to see another flood watch issued for parts of SE Texas.

Yeah, that 12z HRRR run looked interesting. Every other run after that so far, not so much.
