Front is down across Galveston Bay, and between Angelton and Galveston. Models sometimes struggle with these setups. NWS has relatively low rain chances but there could be some surprises this afternoon.

Yeah, it’s gonna make its way further S later today, but don’t expect much. Maybe an inch at most, but probably more like half an inch. Also, the next round of rain next week looks like it might miss us to the N again, but that’s a long ways out still, but after what’s happened recently I have my doubts.
