Boring for now.
Another week of better weather in Gainesville, FL. That may not change this year!
But there's hope for Mudville on the horizon. An Alaska thaw.

Nice day here in College Station. The FROPA barreled through last night about 9 pm. Temps in the 60s. DPs in the 30s. These days will be few and far between soon enough.
A quick return flow tomorrow - should be nice until mid afternoon though.
Rain chances Wednesday through Friday have diminished to 30-50% probability (as expected). Hot, humid, and dry - no way to go through life, son!

Cpv17 models really aren’t that impressive with rain over the next 2 weeks, CPC might be too aggressive with that graphic

CCGCD Board Approves Drought Warning
March 24, 2026
On March 18, 2026, the CCGCD Board of Directors approved the issuance of a drought warning due to persistent drought conditions. A drought warning is a request for water users to voluntarily reduce groundwater consumption. Colorado County is currently experiencing extreme drought (D3) in the northern and western portions of the county. Severe drought (D2) conditions persist in the southern and eastern portions of the county. For more information, please contact the CCGCD office at 979-732-9300 or visit online at www.ccgcd.net.
Our neighbors and I are all on well water out here in Columbus. Hope this trend reverses direction. Maybe something tropical could help with recharging the aquifer. Time will tell.
