I just got through picking up .30” of rain in 2 minutes. Talk about insane rates. Some decent hail too.

Biggest one I found

Another line moving down from CLL Houston and east may see more rain. There's a hail core in some of the cells.

It’s more like fall weather, IMO.Stratton20 wrote: ↑Thu Mar 12, 2026 10:57 am loving this chilly weather!!! This is true texas spring weather right here!

Beautiful sunny day today in CLL.
We're 42°F and dropping. The airport is at 47°F with the UHI...plus we have pooling of cooler air out of town closer to the creeks. Warmer air stays aloft.
39°F or a degree lower sounds about right. It could be November before we see these temps again.

Low of 40°F IMFY last night. Return flow started and we never dropped to the 30s, unfortunately.
70s today with still low DPs. The next FROPA is stronger, but because of the supposed timing - severe weather chances appear low. I don't think we'll see much rain. This looks like an east of I-45 event for now. Euro does develop a line of showers SOUTH of Hwy 1*5 - keep an eye out.
...but lows in the 30s in CLL for 2 nights is possible. Highs progged only in the 50s on Monday. So one last day and 2 nights of "winter" then we'll see if the blow torch cranks up next weekend. A potential expansion of the Western Ridge or dreaded Omega block set up as colder air moves east on Thursday...We'll see Uncertainty and disagreement in the 10 day and beyond is high.

Powerful cold front will sweep across the region Sunday afternoon/ evening. A couple of strong or severe storms may develop along the front. Worst of the weather likely to be northeast of the metro area.
A cold air mass will surge into the area Sunday night with strong northerly winds.
May have to watch for frost early next week with lows well into the 30’s.
