Decent non-severe rain last night in my area. Looks like the line should be in the Houston area around lunch time.

Houston can expect to see fairly widespread showers and thunderstorms this afternoon, some of them becoming severe. It will be an afternoon to be weather aware across the region. Tonight very breezy conditions arrive as a cold front blows in to cool us down for the remainder of the week.

Strong to severe storms are possible today ahead of and along a cold front. The strongest cells may produce damaging winds, large hail, heavy rain, & isolated tornadoes.
Stay weather aware! Ensure you have multiple ways to receive warnings & know the location of your nearest shelter.

Impressive lightning display this morning with the first wave. We're in the second wave and up to 1.50 inches of rain. Good stuff.
The line should be nearing Houston in a couple of hours.
The FROPA is here a little early. North winds, decreasing the chance of tornadoes.

no more rain, atmosphere is worked over, if you didnt cash in today, you might have to wait until the very end of the month for rain chances to return
