Been holding steady at 26 out here since about 10 this morning. Ice storm warning hoisted about an hour ago so its probably going to get sucky here later this afternoon into the evening.

I usually buy in when Ntxw does on Storm2k or Herzog. It used to be Srain too, but he doesn’t come around anymore since he moved.

All I’m saying is don’t give up on it yet. There’s still some ensemble support from the GEFS and EPS.

Warmest part of the day right now so that makes sense. I expect it to start dropping pretty good once we get past 4-5pm.

The freeze line is about Bastrop to Hearne. N17 advection. Proximity to the GOM impededs, but won't be enough to stop this train.

Should move through College Station in the next couple of hours.

That’s wild man. If that verifies, cold won’t be an issue.

When talking about something that’s a week out, it’s better to go by ensembles than the operationals.

Yeah, it’s still a possibility.

Cpv17 yeah i just saw the ensembles, still a decent signal, and this current winter storm is a good example of why operational models cant be trusted with seeing the cold
