Hey now Euro! Almost all of that south of Waco is sleet. Texarkana would strike gold, though. DFW silver or platinum.

GFS, RGEM and ICON drop convective frz rain and sleet on us.

Some .3 to .5 of freezing rain. Oy!

That’s ice storm warning criteria.

Based on the latest model runs i suspect that HGX will issue Winter Storm Warnings tomorrow morning.

I think freezing rain is likely. Forecast models do not handle wintry weather in Southeast Texas.
