Dont get too excited about these upcoming fronts. Nothing special for us as they will likely be like the Ravens kicker... wide right.

Agreed. Unless things change around, here, having anything super cold isn't happening. There is absolutely zero indication of it at this juncture. Nothing to believe anyway.

Friday could get rather nasty. Some in the south will need to look out for high winds. Pay attention if you live in Louisiana and points north and east.

Enjoying a glorious and sustained downpour in our niche of Grimes County. Just marvelous.

Same here, so I just taped a calendar to the trunks to remind them. They stopped.

Just how he's going all in that something will happen on the 19th and 20th. That's a bold statement

As for the weather, any hint of a freeze next week is gone.

Maybe next weekend we see a light freeze, which is nothing unusual for the third week in January, the dead of winter. After that, average climo. temps start to rise again.

La Nina has gone kaput. The Nino is coming.

Already enjoying the slightly later sunsets.

Hitting the jackpot here today. Up to .60” in a red band. I’ll take it.

It’s mainly south of 10 that needs the rain and unfortunately it doesn’t look like it’s gonna happen.

Bust until 40 minutes ago. It's come down hard for a few minutes here and there. Just 0.23 inches so far.

Canadian and GFS are throwing out teasers of potential snow on the 19th.

Seasonable weather until then.
