Yup, this big pattern change is going to take time, I think we see resistance from the SE ridge initially around thanksgiving, but with the EPO/ WPO tanking, the SE ridge will get suppressed and i strongly believe the bottom falls out in early december

Any indication of the temps for the Houston/Galveston area if the bottom falls out hopefully?Stratton20 wrote: ↑Thu Nov 13, 2025 1:26 pm Yup, this big pattern change is going to take time, I think we see resistance from the SE ridge initially around thanksgiving, but with the EPO/ WPO tanking, the SE ridge will get suppressed and i strongly believe the bottom falls out in early december

sambucol too early to tell, but when you have what is possibly going to be a SSWE getting underway within the thanksgiving timeframe , this leads to a disruption of the PV, and a EPO/WPO absolute tank fest, you’re going to have cross polar flow coming straight out of the arctic and spilling right down into the central plains which of course the models will struggle greatly with , all i can say is it could get cold, maybe REALLY COLD lol, winter is coming out of the gates strong this year

Hey yall! Next weeks storm means business…
Looks like a storm system you would usually get in the springtime. I’m watching this one closely.

It’s pretty normal. It’s been this way for years now. It’s not anything new.

Pretty much. That's the big change since the 1990s.
